A new favorite site! and a surprise FREEBIE

Where have I been and why did it take me so long to find this place??? Oh my! Digishoptalk has a plethora of info! Oh my (again)! It has a fabulous forum to advertise many, many freebies, new shop goodies, tons of help & tuts, and just plain fun.

I've just added it to my favorite links bit on here. It's a must!

If you haven't been there, hurry now....please don't just wait around like I did. The posts are fast & furious, changing very frequently.

Have fun!

I have to let you know a little something else now too.....a little sneak peek at what I'm working on now. It's "Rockin' Ransom". The kit is inspired by my nephew (step-nephew-in-law to be exact). My husband's step-brother is in 3 different bands so you know that Ransom will have lots of fun craziness in his house as he grows up. He's only 3.5 months old...and has the same birthday as me too:). At his mom's baby shower earlier this year, our sister-in-law, Cynthia, knitted the most fabulous sweater for Ransom to wear this winter. It's black with a white skull & crossbones. SO so so cool for a baby! No, I'm not crazy. Anyway, I decided to share one of the papers with you now. I really was only going to tell you about it, but what the hay...have fun with this sneak peek. The paper doesn't look baby-ish, but the whole kit is going to be a hip-rocker-baby thing. I can't wait to get it completed so everyone can enjoy it!

My first kit up for sale! Woo-Hoo!!!

Remember those frames that I had up as a freebie a couple weeks ago? Well, that kit, "Hudson & his Airplanes" is now up for sale at Digiscrap Central. It's chock full of airplanes and primary colors (and a bit of green & black).

Also, as being a member of Digiscrap Central's Element Team, I created a mini kit, "Autumn Butterflies Mini" as a special September challenge/crop freebie and a mini to be included in the September Mega Kit. Stay tuned to Digiscrap Central's forum for links to the Mega.

I think it's about time for another freebie on here too. I'm going to work on that this evening. Until then, have fun at Digiscrap Central and Scrap Sassy Silly!

My first design gig!!!!

Shout out for me! I am now on DigiScrap Central's Element Team. This means that I will be contributing to the monthly Mega Kit, designing a monthly special mini kit, and sell at least one monthly regular kit of mine. If you've never checked out their site, please do. Digiscrap Central has a fabulous scrap shop, forum, gallery, & freebie area. I don't have anything uploaded yet, but hopefully I will have one of my kits available soon. I just need to decide which one to go with first (possibly Hudson & his Airplanes?).

Drop me a note. I love hearing from you.

Oh!....please notice that I added a small slide of some of my's on the right sidebar. I also added some of my favorite links over there too.

Some LOs made with "Co-Co's Colorwheel" ...oh so cool!

I made my Co-Co kit because Amy from my BBC Scrapbooking forum really was on the lookout for primary colors with circles, squares, & triangles. Since she couldn't locate anything, I decided to come to her rescue.

Wellllllllll....she just showed me on the LOs she made with them....all for her sister's baby shower................soooooooo,I just had to share with you since it's the first I've seen with an of my kits ...... go here

Besides that fun news.... I just downloaded a bunch of great fonts onto my new laptop that I can use I just need to clean out all of the fonts on my home computer to get rid of the ones I can't use commercially (a yucky task that I'm not looking forward to) ........ oh, just in case you are looking for great fonts, the sites that I grabbed from tonight are Larabie and DivideByZero ....go have fun with them too!

3 FREEBIES at Scrapbook-Bytes!!

"Manic Martians", "Polly Prepster", and "Lily Claire" are all up and available at SBB in their "free downloads" area. Please go to the SBB link I just gave you & it will take you directly to them.

Anyway, for those of you that are interested in "Manic Martians" & "Polly Prepster" you don't have to worry about the links expiring here. You also can access another girly one you haven't seen before, "Lily Claire". "Lily Claire" was inspired by a friend's newborn daughter by that name. All of the colors came from a picture of her and her sisters. Eventually I will actually scrap a page of her like I promised Kristin a few weeks ago.

Enjoy them!

Also, don't forget to share your LOs with me. I'd love to see how they are being used by you.

Hey there, hi there, it's freebie time again ...

Did you ever think you'd find this many freebies in such a short amount of time? I told you earlier to keep checking back and if you are doing just that...THANK YOU ... I really appreciate it! Don't forget to tell me in the comments. I would also love to know about any gallery postings you do with my kits so I can see how much fun you are having with them.

Anyway...after a couple of requests for primary colors with basic shapes, along with some crayons.........I just finished "Co-Co's Color Wheel" kit this morning. It has 14 total papers, an Alpha, and loads of embellishments. As you will be able to tell in the preview, I couldn't just leave it with only primary colors. The secondary colors jazz it up a bit.

Please enjoy "Co-Co's Colorwheel" freebie download.

For those of you wondering about my design team applications.....I'm in the same boat as you. I applied for 3 team calls at the end of last week and I'm still waiting for any word. Keep sending me your well wishes! I'm going to check Just Digital Calls over the weekend to see if there are any more openings that I'd like to apply for.

Smiles & Have a groovy weekend!!!!!

A girly preppy freebie...and a sneak peek

As promised late last night, I have a fabulous freebie again. It's my "Polly Prepster" kit. This was placed on SBB's new member free downloads area 2-3 weeks ago, but I have since updated it. The preview is much easier to view and I've also updated a few of the elements too. "Polly Prepster" is the very 1st kit that I designed that's why I had to go back and tweak it to make it even better.

With all boys in my house, I have to have fun making girly things once in a while. I'm so glad I can actually have fun with girly things and share them with other people now. Yay!!! Just wait until you see my other girly kits. They are oh so cute (and even better than this).

Here's my "Polly Prepster" preview:

You can download the frames as a sneak peek freebie now before the kit is up anywhere.

Remember that your comments and suggestions are always appreciated! Also, please keep sending me your happy wishes for a design gig.

Smiles to everyone

it's a tad late....

Well, it's 12:30 (after midnight, not noon). I just wanted to say hello and please stay tuned. I will be posting another freebie, a girly one this time. After I sleep for a few hours, I'll going to share it with all of you.

I did finish one more kit today, "Hudson & his airplanes". I'm going to do a Hudson series with a transportation theme. Hudson is my almost 2-year old son and he loves all types of vehicles. I just amazed myself with the 3 different airplanes I designed. One of his books served as great inspiration for me. They are just so cool! Hopefully I'll get a design gig soon so I can showcase the series there. Maybe I'll throw a tiny sneak peek at you tomorrow morning.

Catch ya in a few hours!

My blog header, etc...

Yay! Thanks to Amanda from my BBC digiscrapping forum, I was able to jazzy up my title. Everything is from my "Susie Sorority" kit. It isn't available anywhere yet. I have applied for the designer call at Digital Freebies, so hopefully I will be able to offer up there soon. If not, I'm sure I'll have it as a freebie at SBB or here soon enough.

Now I just need to figure out how to add some blinkies and make a blog watcher list. I remember seeing the place to add a blog list at the very very beginning of designing my blog, but I can't find it anywhere now. Send me a comment if you can help out.

Also, I'm glad some of you are already enjoying my "Manic Martians" kit. I've already seen one LO made with it. Yay again!

ok, that's it for now....

Hi there...

Well, I'm not sure where to begin. This is my very first blogging adventure. Since I know that many other digiscrap fanatics have blogs and since I'm trying to dive into the crazy world of designing, I thought it was time to start up my own little world. I'm sure I'll just ramble from time to time, like I do when I normally talk. You should just be happy I'm typing in sentences instead of lots of fragments and dots (.....) blurring together randomly. That's what I normally do in digiscrap forum posts and e-mails.

A little about me.... (whoops, there I go with my dots)...I am a mom to three entertaining boys. Cooper (16 yr) lives with his dad full-time in STL and visits very often. My youngest two are Hudson and Griffin (almost 2 and 1 respectively) and their dad, my dh, are in the dry heat of PHX. I am primarily a stay-at-mom. I do work part-time at a kid's resale shop and it's soooo much fun (and very very busy). I'm also the Alumnae Membership Coordinator for Alpha Phi's Southwest Region, along with being an Indep. Rep. for Silpada Designs (FABULOUS sterling jewelry). I would post a link to my website, but that is very taboo to post it on any website per Silpada guidelines. If you would like to access my website to view the catalog &/or to learn more about Silpada, just post a comment to me. I'll then send you a direct link that way. Yes, I am rather busy.

I love being creative and once I learned about digiscrapping a few months ago, I was hooked. Being online & having a marvelous creative like this was so so perfect for me. I haven't actually scrapped anything in about a month because I've been learning how to make my own kits. So fun! I have one kit already up at Scrapbook-Bytes in the new member free download area, but I'm not sharing the link quite yet. I am tweaking the kit a bit and making the preview so much easier to view. I have submitted three other kits to them this week and I'm just waiting for them to be accepted. In the meantime, you can enjoy my Manic Martian kit here as a freebie. That's right, my very first freebie post. It's my 4th kit and my favorite one too. I'm going to add an Alpha later as an add-on.

Please enjoy! Suggestions & comments will be greatly appreciated!
